Kelly Mulhollan and Donna Stjerna of Toucan Jam have released a PARENT'S CHOICE AWARD-WINNING CD called A WORLD OF MUSIC . The duo has been performing their exciting “whirlwind tour around the globe” program for over a decade to hundreds of thousands of children in schools, libraries and festivals all across the U.S. and into Canada .

Now with the release of this well-received CD, Toucan Jam has created a BRAND NEW show to go with it by the same name.

A WORLD OF MUSIC is perfect for libraries, festivals and celebrations of all kinds. It still has the multi-cultural element that Toucan Jam is famous for, but sprinkled into the show are songs that the duo has written that are just plain FUN. There is more interaction than ever and it is perfect for ALL ages from toddlers to grandparents!!!

This new program sports a third member, TIZZY TOUCAN. Tizzy is a colorful Toucan puppet that tells really bad jokes that go with each song, the kids love to encourage her efforts with loud belly laughs.

Long time Toucan Jam friend, EMILY EMU is back for a rip-roaring version of “That's Good, That's Bad”, complete with a Didgeridoo RAP and a ONE-MAN BAND contraption that allows Kelly to play the Didgeridoo and percussion all at once!

The program introduces kids to colorful characters like FLOWER MAN~ the ultimate recycler from Houston, Texas, while ABAGAZ from Ethiopia teaches the kids about the importance of saying PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

There is a stop-over in South America where the “Legend of Eldorado” is told using an armadillo-backed instrument called the CHARANGO.

The 50-minute journey ends with a rousing song where kids sing the months of the year in order and when December rolls around they join in a FREEZE DANCE which whips the program into a frenzied grand finale!
